Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?
Studied International Politics BSc at Brunel. Graduated 2010. Went on to get my PGCE via Teach First at IOE/UCL..
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
Touring schools, writing stories + poetry. I have visited over 200 schools as part of my book tour, engaging children across the country and fostering a love for reading and writing.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
Having the Mayor of London write to me to congratulate me for my work during the pandemic and being featured on Britain's Got Talent
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
I made some excellent friends at 成人直播app and enjoyed spending time at the library.
Why did you choose to study at 成人直播app and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
Brunel is a modern university with world class resources, and an excellent track record. I would certainly recommend Brunel.
What is your best memory of studying here?
Getting involved in Student Union life. I also enjoyed how lecturers made themselves available for feedback.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
Network, network, network! Try your best to meet new people, make new connections, and go out of your comfort zone.
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
Find a problem and try and solve it! Gravitate towards what makes you happy first and what makes you fill fulfilled...financial reward will follow.
