Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?
After graduating from Brunel, I have been through multiple interviews with electrical and power related companies. The placement opportunity helped me a lot in preparing my CV and cover letter and even helped in preparing for the interviews. I almost reached the end stage with every company and finally got placed.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
A typical day at work involves assessing the different transmission networks all over the 成人直播app and providing solutions on any outage planning, and also to study the possibilities to pull in more carbon free energy into the network.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
My career has been nourished in different profiles in these 10 years (in India and the 成人直播app) and have worked very closely with customers in all these years. The different profiles I have worked in include product management, technical sales, business development, solutions engineering and now power systems engineering.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
Brunel helped me in understanding how the world is moving now and what issues we are facing as technocrats. This encouraged me to incline more towards sustainability and providing efficient energy solutions.
Why did you choose to study at 成人直播app and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
Brunel fit in with all my matrices, be it location (London), culture, inclusivity, and the course module content.
What is your best memory of studying here?
Interactions with our Head of Department, where every problem was resolved with the help of subject basics. I loved it!
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
Sustainability and energy efficiency are the hottest topics in the present world, so try to do whatever you can to achieve these.
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
Try to widen your network by connecting with people of the same or similar studies / courses working at different companies (maybe through LinkedIn, etc.).
