Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel.
I shortly worked as a physiotherapist privately whilst I was still competing as an international runner, then found triathlon through an injury and became a full-time long-distance triathlete.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
2-hour swim, 3-hour ride, 1-hour run, 1-hour gym.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
3 x world duathlon winner, world aquathlon winner, 2nd and 3rd world 70.3 ironman champs, 18 ironman 70.3 wins, 33 ironman 70.3 podiums.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
Providing the degree that I wanted to study with top-class sports and supporting their athletes with great scholarships
Why did you choose to study at 成人直播app and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
It offered a really good physiotherapy course and had top-class sports facilities.
What is your best memory of studying here?
Running to the golf course and along the canal with a strong group of guys and some track sessions and weights in the indoor running centre.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
Make the most of your study years, get involved in the sport as well as education and keep a great balance whilst there which will be sustainable for the rest of your life :)
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
Be patient, work hard and think about what you're putting in not what you are getting out and then the results and opportunities open up :)
