Which country do you currently live in?
India and the 成人直播app
What are you passionate about and why?
I am passionate about having a successful career in Corporate Law and becoming a female version of Harvey Spectre (from the TV show, Suits). Aside from my passion for law, I have a deep interest in dancing, journaling, acting, volunteering, writing, and learning about new cultures and languages which are portrayed throughout my university life at Brunel.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
I currently work from home which has made it flexible for me to work from anywhere at any time. A typical day working as a Legal Associate for Internet Removals involves working in areas of Defamation Law, Consumer Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, and Privacy Law specifically but not limited to Australia, UK, US, and Canadian Law. Typically, I remove infringing details of every spectrum and complexity from the internet.
What are your plans for the next two years?
This year, I plan on gaining legal work experience and alongside this, pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law and Consumer Law in India. Next year, I would like to pursue a Masters in Law (LLM) in Corporate / Commercial Law from a University in the 成人直播app and apply for a training contract.
Why do you enjoy volunteering for Brunel?
I have volunteered throughout my university life at Brunel. In my first and second year, I received a Brunel Volunteers Silver and Gold Award respectively. I was also nominated for the Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering Award. Brunel has exceptional opportunities to volunteer and provide for the community. Additionally, Brunel is very supportive and recognises students for their volunteering well. For me, I received an opportunity from Brunel to volunteer oversees in Bali, Indonesia to help talented disabled people.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
Receiving an internationally recognised degree from an internationally recognised institution like Brunel helps in gaining work experience. Today, I am walking out of Brunel with lot more knowledge and confidence. The Professional Development Centre (PDC) at Brunel helps every student substantially during their studies and for three years after graduation, and because of this, I have been able to get a job in Australia today. Brunel have helped me build the skills and connections I needed for my future.
Why did you choose to study at 成人直播app and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
I choose to study at 成人直播app as it is a campus-based university in London with students from all around the world creating a community feeling. Academically, Brunel is one of the only universities in the 成人直播app to offer specialisation with your undergraduate degree in law which makes you stand out from other law graduates from other universities. The opportunities at 成人直播app are endless with free modern language classes, societies and clubs, volunteering, internship opportunities and more. I would recommend Brunel to others who want to recognise and portray your inner talent to the world.
What is your best memory of studying here?
My best memory of studying here would definitely be the One Brunel World Week where Brunel celebrates and recognises diverse cultures and communities annually. Being an international student being miles away from home, this is where I got a chance to represent India at the One Brunel Fashion Show. The feeling of strong community and togetherness made my whole Brunel experience very heart-touching. Brunel made my time a home away from home.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
My advice to current Brunel students would be to take part in as many activities as you can, it can be academic or non-academic. This will make your Brunel experience more memorable and fruitful.
