On 10 June, four mixed teams of undergraduate students from Brunel Law School and Brunel Business School took part in an online collaborative pitching competition to PwC and Blake Morgan on Zoom Meetings.
Collaborative pitches happen frequently in management consultancies who offer a legal team alongside management services, and in many large City firms that cater to commercial and corporate organisations.
To test the students’ acumen, a case study on Deliveroo was set by PwC and BM requiring students to pitch as PwC or BM representatives to the fast-food delivery company as a potential client. The winning team’s pitch was well presented and demonstrated excellent teamwork; however, the calibre overall was high with some good levels of research in some areas.
Thanks go out to the professional judging panel from Blake Morgan (Emilie Dawson, Rishin Patel, Thomas Morgan) and from PwC (Reanna Gordon, Darryl Mutyambizi and Xitong Zhou).
“Many thanks Anjali Kemwal for organising such an exciting event! Also, a huge thank to Tony Coyne for his continuous invaluable support!”
Dr Pamela Nika, Brunel Law School
“Thank you very much Pam for the tremendous support throughout the competition! It was definitely worth all the hard work!
Hilai Qahari, Final Year Law Student
“So glad it was such a success! Already looking forward to the 2021 competition!
Tony Coyne, Blake Morgan
