Peter Thomas: How to restore trust in politics

Professor Peter Thomas is an historian of political thought, an historian of philosophy and a political theorist.

In his inaugural lecture Professor Peter Thomas will reflect upon what we can learn from recent emancipatory political movements such as Occupy, the International Women's Strike, Black Lives Matter, direct actions against the climate emergency, and anti-war protests, and how their values can help to restore our trust in the capacity of political engagement to make meaningful change.

Peter hopes you will him for a drinks reception after the event.
