Most of the students are studying a bespoke programme designed to help them develop their English skills and prepare for work, whilst two are studying Pre-Sessional English, and plan to move on to a degree course at the University.
They’re being supported by donations from some of the university’s generous suppliers, who have provided the students with equipment to help support their studies and settle in to their new surroundings. These include Chromebooks from , stationary from , toiletries from and laptops from . Locals from the West London Synagogue also kindly donated.
Their tutors say they’ve been impressed by the latest cohort and have enjoyed learning about Ukraine’s distinct culture and language.
Tutor Christine Carr, said: “I love spending time with them, as they are eager to learn and are showing good progress and strong motivation.”
