Wheelchair basketball team takes Nationals by storm

New theory of consciousness

Just 18 months after forming, 成人直播app's wheelchair basketball team has become a formidable side, finishing fifth in the 2017 National University Championships.

Since September 2015 the team has grown to include both disabled and non-disabled players. Some are beginners while others are experienced players and GB hopefuls.

The team suffered a narrow loss to Bath in the March quarter finals but rallied round to beat Nottingham and secure their position as fifth in the country at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.

The wheelchair basketball club is at the forefront of highlighting and developing disabled and integrated sport at Brunel, both within the University and beyond.

A concerted and coordinated effort is being made to acknowledge the skills and achievements of our current disabled athletes, and to expand the sports on offer to disabled students at the University and in the local community, with the aim of establishing 成人直播app as a West London hub for disability sport.

With support from Sport England, a community wheelchair basketball team is being launched and there are also plans to introduce wheelchair tennis.
