The organisation aims to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families by providing comfort, pain management, and emotional support to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.聽聽
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will be providing support to the shop manager in a retail setting. As a Retail Shop Volunteer, you will acquire problem-solving, customer service, sales, and merchandising skills.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and communication to customers, staff, and fellow volunteers
- Operating and managing the till system, sorting, and organise donated teams for display on the shop floor
- Raising awareness and encouraging customers to participate in the charity’s Gift Aid program and Hospice lottery
- Assisting in promoting the charity and its fundraising events to increase awareness and support the cause
Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
