The Daniella Logun Foundation (DLF) offers holistic well-being support (Emotional, Practical, and Spiritual) to children and young people (CYP) diagnosed with brain tumours, or other cancers, and their families, living in Hillingdon and the surrounding areas. The organisation was established in memory of Daniella Logun who passed away from a brain tumour in 2016 at only 12 years old. Based on her experience the organisation aims to provide more support options to help children, their families, and those who surround them through the challenges that this life-changing diagnosis brings along.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will raise awareness of real-life challenges for many children who have been diagnosed with a brain tumour or other cancer and their families, and help them to have access to better-quality health and social care support. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will gain a set of skills such as content creation, audience engagement, and storytelling.
Typical duties include:
- Uploading content across a range of social messaging platforms
- Creating schedules where necessary and ensuring they are adhered to
- Creation of social content and social metrics in order to refine the approach continually
- Creating, distributing, and engaging with written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web pages, and blog content
Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
