Research Interests

My research interests lie in the general area of insider trading in both a UK and more recently a Chinese context. In particular, I am interested in the information contained in both stock and executive stock option transactions by corporate insiders at both the  firm and aggregate level. More recently, my research has focused on the area of cultural finance, especially with reference to the impact of bribery and corrption on various aspects of firm-level financial decsion making.
