Summary
Dr Kaiwen Jiang received her BEng degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacture and Automation from the North China University of Technology, China, in 2017, her MSc degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering and her PhD degree in Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 2018 and 2024.
Dr Jiang specialises in remanufacturing engineering (robotic disassembly direction), intelligent optimisation (metaheuristic algorithms and the Bees Algorithm), and CAD simulation. She joined the Brunel University of London for Mechanical Engineering as a lecturer in September 2024. She also serves as a member of committees in the International Workshop Series on the Bees Algorithm and Its Applications (BAA), the International Workshop on Autonomous Remanufacturing (IWAR), and the British Standard Institution-Reman (product value retention) (BSI-TPR1/7/3).
