Brunel Hydrogen Research

Brunel Hydrogen Interdisplinary Research: Integrates Social, Digital and Physical Research

 Our Research Capabilities

  • Physical: combustion engines, materials analysis and structural safety and design
  • Digital: control systems and cross energy vector flexibility, and energy security risk
  • Social: policy evaluation, business and tax models, and behavior change

There are currenlty 20 research projects in progress

Integrating social science into engineering research – not bolting it on’:

Working to adapt digital academics’ techniques for working in ‘other domains’ to enable our social scientists to work more confidently in hydrogen

Hydrogen-using and Hydrogen-Related Research and Applications as of May 24
