Fundamentals and Applications - 17 & 18 December 2007
Program
The aim of this 2-day workshop is to discuss current developments in Random Matrix Theory, its applications and related topics. The program will include introductory and specialised talks by the invited speakers, as well as a poster session. Applications to participate are welcome, and should be directed to any of the organisers. Junior researchers are especially encouraged to apply.
The meeting is funded by the London Mathematical Society. Support is available to a limited number of research students. All participants must pay a £20 registration fee.
The programme of the workshop will include the following topics:
- Riemann-Hilbert Problems and Asymptotic of Orthogonal Polynomials
- Integrability and Spin Chains
- Large Deviations of Extreme Eigenvalues
- Matrix Integrals and Applications
